Kenoma is a Berlin-based trio that formed in 2022. The group is composed of Marco Papa on guitar, Paul Engelmann on alto saxophone, and Emanuele Calì on drums. They create a hybrid and engaging sound that they define as jazzcore-crossover, using a wide range of sounds inspired by jazz, contemporary composition, and polyrhythms, as well as the importance of improvisation in all its forms.

Kenoma's sonic flexibility and compositional style allow for various types of concerts, using a powerful and strong sound suitable for rock stages or a delicate and experimental sound that allows the trio to perform in more acoustic contexts. Their ability to combine genres and styles creates a unique and engaging musical experience.

In August 2022, we recorded our first release titled
"Self-portrait"

an album that includes six original compositions. Each song is the result of a profound artistic research, which is reflected in a part of the variety of styles and influences present in our work.
